Contents Page

11.11.2015- This is my first attempt at a contents page. I based this design off my rationale. However, when put into practice this design does not have a good effect, as it has a lot of dead space and does not look professional.

16.11.2015- 2nd attempt. I decided to change the layout of the page radically from the original rationale. I added a banner to the masthead, moved the sub-images, changed the font of the images' captions, added a screenshot of the front cover, and changed the font of the necessary information.

3rd attempt. I added the name of the website, the page number, and banners. I changed the colour of some of the text and made the contents list italicised and bolded.

4th attempt. I removed some of the sub-images and moved the text into different positions, as well as adding more banners.

18.11.2015- 5th attempt. I changed the colour of the background and the font of the masthead and added a box around the main image.

14.12.2015- 6th attempt. I decided to change the design to this one as I felt that this looks more professional and matches the genre better than my previous attempts.

7th attempt. I changed the font of the slugs from Paradise City to Lumberjack, as I felt that the latter looked more professional. I removed the shadows of the slugs. I edited the dominant image to make it look more appealing.

4.1.2016- 8th attempt. I added illustrations to the dominant image to match the cover, and I changed the font of some of the text to one that looks handwritten to comply with the DIY aesthetic. I added some stripes in the corner to brighten the page.

13.1.2016- 9th attempt. Inspired by this image, I decided to change the layout of my contents page into one mimicking the style of a paper game. This layout is more aesthetically appealing and is easier for the reader to navigate.

18.1.2016- 10th attempt. I added some blue rectangles around the existing components to create a frame effect. This makes the page look more neat, compact, and appealing. I changed the font and colour of the page number so that it matches the other text.

25.1.2016- 11th attempt. I removed the images as I felt that they did not work well with the other components of the page.

27.1.2016- 12th attempt. I made the page number smaller and edited some of the text to make them fit in the boxes better and to add more information.

10.2.2016- 13th attempt. I edited the necessary information and moved the main body of text into the centre.

22.2.2016- 14th attempt. Following advice from my lecturer, I removed the frames and added shapes instead to make the page look less plain. To make the page numbers stand out more I bolded them.

9.4.2016- 15th attempt. Following advice from my target audience, I decided to organise the shapes into a system.

6.5.2016- 16th attempt. Following advice from my lecturers I added some more colors and images.
